“Poka Yoke” automation technology
“Poka Yoke” comes from the Japanese, and means “avoidance of accidental faults”. The basic idea of Poka Yoke consists of preventing the creation of faults in the product as a result of human error. This should be achieved by identifying and solving potential problems, before they become real problems.
The principle of Poka Yoke is the design of processes, products and operating equipment in such a way that faulty operation cannot lead to faulty products or dangers to life and limb, or that faulty operation is impossible.
This philosophy has been our incentive in the development and production of automation machinery, ever since we extended our tool construction over recent years to the manufacture of small, highly complex automation machines.
We are thereby not restricted to any particular application area, but have the capability to offer you a tailor- made solution to your specifications.
Our automation machines were originally developed for our own requirements for the optimisation of small parts assembly, which ultimately enabled the creation of a separate department for external customers.
You will find below a few examples of our many projects, which will enable you to convince yourself of our versatility. In the event of further questions, you will find the right contact partner here.

Automatic printer
The “automatic printer” illustrated on the right is needed for our traditional business. This is equipped with disposable nibs, which consist amongst other things of a fibre tip, with which various measurements can later be recorded in ink. The exact position and the optimum angle at which the fibre tip is ground determine the writing quality.
This “automatic printer” has been developed in order to achieve the most accurate possible result in a short time, and to enable cost-effective production.
According to the motto “pictures speak louder than words”, you can see the method of operation in the following video.

Machine for the sealing of nozzle plates in inkjet technology
This machine was developed and produced for inkjet technology. The problem in this case was that the nozzle plates of refilled ink cartridges must be protected by a film, in order to prevent leakage. Simple gluing is not sufficient to ensure optimum protection: too aggressive a procedure would however destroy the sensitive nozzle plates and make the cartridges unusable.
For this reason, a sealing machine was designed and constructed. A more detailed description of the technology used can be obtained on request.
Machine for the automatic dosing and filling of multiple ink tank disposable nibs
The last example shows a machine for the filling of our ink tanks. Depending on the number of ink chambers, up to 6 different colours can be processed at the same time.
Since the different inks vary in density, every ink must be controlled individually. Filling the products manually or individually would not be economical, so we therefore designed the following filling machine with individual regulation.
